Jenny Armstrong

Jenny came to vet nursing later in life than most having spent 10 years studying Biology at university, culminating in the successful completion of a PhD in wild bird behaviour and genetics. Ultimately though, a keen desire to work directly with animals and a passion for animal health & welfare led Jenny to nursing, and she hasn’t looked back. Jenny trained to be a vet nurse with North Highland College and officially qualified as an RVN in June 2021, shortly after joining the Bruceview team in May. Fascinated by imaging Jenny can often be found in Bruceview’s imaging suite, assisting the vets and other nurses with x-rays and ultrasound scans.

Outside of work Jenny loves to explore the hills, on foot or on horseback, and as a dedicated bibliophile loves browsing second-hand bookshops for her next book.
